Joseph “Joe” Louis Valdez passed away on August 31, 2024, in Nampa, Idaho. Born on September 23, 1947, and grew up in Stockton, CA where he attended Edison High School. He enlisted in the U.S. Army, and he served in the Vietnam war and was a decorated Vietnam Veteran.

He is predeceased by his father and mother, Marcella and Manuel Valdez; and brother, Daniel Valdez. He is survived by his sons: Joseph (Joey) Valdez and Antonio (Tino) Valdez of California; brother, Raymond Valdez of Idaho; and his sisters: Marcelina Aguilar, Josie Saldana, Georgia Flores and Margaret Martin of California.

Joe was a grandfather and great grandfather and was loved by family and friends. He will live in the memory of all that knew him.
