Byron, GA: Joseph Michael Valentine, 62, passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2009. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday in the Parkway Memorial Gardens. There will be a visitation on Tuesday from 6:00 ? 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Mr. Valentine was born in Charleston, WV. He was the son of the late Joseph Samuel and Virginia Bragg Valentine. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Ann Valentine. Mr. Valentine was a former factory worker. Survivors include his daughter Michelle Thomas, son Joseph Valentine, brother Donald Valentine and four grandchildren. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
