Joseph Wachtel, 79, passed away May 12, 2009 at Hospice House Woodside. Born in New York, New York, he came here in 1969 from Georgia. He served in the Army and was a motel owner. Survivors include his friend, Anita Simmons; son, Stephen Wachtel; granddaughter, Rachel Wachtel; niece, Amy Wachtel. Graveside services will be at 12 noon on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at Royal Palm Cemetery, 101 55th Street South in St. Petersburg. David C. Gross Funeral Home is serving the family. Service Information
