Joseph Williamson

Williamson, Joseph Arthur, 86 of Odessa, Florida went to be with the lord on May 16, 2019. Joe was a life-long native resident of Tampa Bay. His only time that he lived elsewhere was during his Navy enlistment from 1951 to 1955 and during this time he was in CA and overseas on a tanker ship. This tour afforded him the opportunity to receive the beginning of his training and education to become his lifelong trait of a master plumber. He was the most caring and helpful husband, father, friend and “Papa, Unk, Old Joe, Papa Joe-Joe, Fred, Bud” to all that crossed his path. He is preceded by his loving wife of 62 years Mary Ann Williamson who passed in 2014; his parents Basil and Lillian Williamson and all 12 of his siblings. Joseph is survived by his son Joey and his wife, Becky, daughter Rocanne and her husband Scott Wills, daughter Tina and her husband Jason Brannen; four cherished grandchildren, Katarina, Austin, Corey and Shawn; great grandchildren Cameron and Lila; and other cherished family members and friends. Pallbearers for this service include: Jason Brannen, Scott Wills, Austin Brannen, Corey Wills, David Blair, John Reece (JR) and Jack Valdes. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Loyless Funeral Home, Land O’Lakes. Interment will follow in Williams Cemetery, Dade City, Florida. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Loyless Funeral Home, Land O’Lakes. Flowers will be accepted or donations in Joe’s honor may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Wounded Warrior Project.
