Joseph W. Wright, 59, of Ruskin, FL, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones on Monday, March 16, 2009 at LifePath Hospice House after an 8 year courageous battle with cancer. He was born in New York, New York on May 26, 1949, son of Edward A. and Virginia Mock Wright. They moved to New Jersey, then Wisconsin where he met the love of his life, Bonnie Jean Muehlenbruch. They celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in September. He loved his family, sports, and was a racing enthusiast. He also enjoyed go-karting with his children. He was dedicated to his work in restaurant management and sales. He and his family had the opportunity to live in many different states, such as Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Georgia, Indiana, and finally Florida. With each move, he cherished the lifelong friendships he made. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; 2 children, Christina (Christopher) Caputo of Pennsylvania, and Trevor (Cindy) Wright of Indiana; 2 sisters, Cari (Mark) Mitchell, and Debbie (Randy) Martin, both of Wisconsin; 3 grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, and Chloe Caputo; 9 nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Juanita Muehlenbruch; and brother-in-law, Robert L. (Connie) Muehlenbruch of Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Robert H. Muehlenbruch. Memorial service to be held on Friday, March 20th at 3:00 pm at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, FL 33573. Donations can be made in his name to: LifePath Hospice, Moffitt Cancer Center, or American Cancer Society. Joe's family would like to thank the doctors and staff of Moffitt Cancer Center and LifePath Hospice for their dedication and compassion. Joe will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
