Josephine Ann Decker
March 11th, 1928 - April 4th, 2023
Josephine A. Decker, age 95, passed away on April 4, 2023. She graced this world on March 11, 1928 in Denver, Colorado. Josephine was a loving mother of two: son Ronald G. Decker, and daughter Sherri A. Chapman. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Millard G. Decker, who passed away June 17, 2014. Of Italian descent, Josephine lived a full life of love and happiness. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, crafting, and most especially dedicating herself to the care and love of her husband and family. Josephine always had a kind word for everyone, and a heart filled with compassion. She grew up in an Italian family with three sisters and two brothers; Rose, Virginia, Helen, Richard, and Robert. Her mother Mary and father Pascal completed the Sorrentino family. As her son, I remember so many festive times with the family, especially during the holidays. She will be missed more than one can ever imagine. In addition to her children, Josephine is survived by five grandchildren; Adam Hecko, Angela Moniz, Kelli Vanta, Michael Wilson, Christa Chapman and six great grandchildren; Eliana Moniz, Jackson Moniz, Ryder Vanta, Isabel Vanta, Savannah Wilson, and Charlotte Wilson. Sadly Josephine is the last survivor of her immediate brother and sisters. A Funeral Services will be held in Josephine's honor on April 13, 2023, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sun City Center, Florida, at 10:00 A.M. EDT.
