Josey Garcia

Josey Garcia, 84, of Greeley, CO passed away April 14, 2018 in Greeley. She was born March 19, 1934 in Greeley to Tito and Santitos (Lopez) Garcia. Josey grew up in Greeley and attended District 6 schools. She was deeply loved by all her family. Josey enjoyed cooking for others, listening to music, watching sports, playing bingo and trips to Blackhawk. Josey was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Josey is survived by her siblings, Tito B. Garcia of Evans, CO, Dorothy (William) Rodman of Greeley, Rita (Cesario) Rucobo of Thornton, CO, Steve Garcia of Greeley, and Vel (Jose) Garcia Romero of Thornton; brother-in-law, Manual Rojas; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews who she loved like her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Sofia Rojas; and sister-in-law, Petra Garcia. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 5-7 p.m. with Recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. both at Adamson. Funeral service will be on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 2222 23rd Avenue, Greeley, CO 80634. Inurnment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
