Joshua J. Galante, age 20, of Johnstown passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 13, 2012 in Gloversville. He was born on February 14, 1992 the son of Gerianne Galante and John Beddow. Joshua was adventurous in nature. He enjoyed snowboarding, swimming, jetskiing, and water skiing. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his daughter, Layla Rose Randall, his mother, Gerianne Galante, a brother, Jacob Beddow, a sister, Jordan Beddow, his maternal grandparents, Jerry and Ann Galante, two aunts: Sonia Soto, Evelyn Whitehead, four uncles: Louis Soto Carol, Michael Aponte Maryann, Edwin Aponte Sandy and Nicholas Galante Trisha. Additional survivors include several cousins. Family and friends are invited and may call from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday May 18, 2012 at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday May 19, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor George Hopper officiating. Interment will follow at FernDale Cemetery in Johnstown.
