Joshua Michael Gallegos
July 16th, 1988 - May 18th, 2020
July 16, 1988 – May 18, 2020 Joshua Michael Gallegos was born in Heerlen, Netherlands. Joshua is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Christine Ann Myer, and his maternal grandfather Ronald Myer. He lives on in the memories of those left behind, including his loving father Gary Lee Gallegos, brother Brandon Eugene Martinez, grandmothers Elizabeth Juarez and April Farkas, his grandfather “Wito” Rogelio Juarez, aunts Shelly (Terry) Dooley, Gina Gaworowski, Olivia Padilla, and Estella Juarez, and his cousins Andrew Padilla, Tony Padilla and Isaiah Holland. He leaves behind his beautiful girlfriend and four hand piano song partner, Yelena Yuryevna Kudelina, as well as other family and friends whose lives he touched through school, work, and his love of music. Joshua has always been low key and friendly; meeting and making friends instantly whenever a common bond was shared. He had a very giving spirit. “Josh” could light up a room with his golden smile, laughter and silliness. He had an amazingly gentle strength, creative abilities, and a beautiful, caring nature inside and out. Joshua was a genuine person and had a humble spirit. Joshua loved to read, exercise, cook, watch his favorite TV series, garden, work on home projects and listen to a diverse variety of music. Classical piano and intricate melodies were a part of his emotional outlet. The love of music inspired him to teach himself beautiful piano pieces by ear. His patience and natural musical ability led him into playing increasingly complex pieces. He was so determined that he taught himself to read music without the benefit of a piano teacher. Joshua had the gift of making people happy. He loved to play piano for family, friends, and in public. Wherever a piano could be found, you’d find him playing a song. Our family will always be grateful for Joshua’s kind heart, beautiful music, and warm, genuine smile. Joshua lived humbly, accepted others gently, and loved deeply his entire life. He is lovingly remembered and will always be missed. With the current gathering restrictions in place, the family will have a private viewing on May 29, 2020 followed by a private celebration of life limited to family on June 5, 2020.
