October 21, 1999 – August 7, 2019 Resident of Prunedale Friends and family will gather in Santa Cruz on Saturday August 17th to say farewell to a loving brother, son, and friend, Joshua Watkins who passed away this past Wednesday in Butte County from injuries he received in a motor vehicle accident. Born in Colorado, he was 19 years old. Joshua attended North Monterey County High School, and had also resided in Santa Cruz County and Colorado. At the time of his passing, he was employed in the cannabis industry in Northern California. Joshua also worked in the construction industry and enjoyed bike riding that usually was followed by a good smoke. He is survived by his mother Angie Goodwin, his father, Jeffary Watkins, his step-father Bobby Goodwin, his brother Raymond Aguilera, his sister, Jessica Watkins, his nephew and niece Nathaniel Watkins and Elizabeth Aguilera, and his two uncles John Trujillo and Patric Trujillo. A memorial service will be held at Benito and Azzaro Pacific Gardens Chapel in Santa Cruz, beginning at 1:30 p.m. A reception will follow at the family home in Prunedale.
