Joshua Joel Witt

Joshua Joel Witt, age 26 of Tucson, Arizona left for places that are far more interesting and better suited to his curious, kind and gentle nature on June 22, 2021. Josh was born on July 10, 1995. A graduate of Mountain View High School class of 2013 where he thrived in football, soccer and skateboarding, he later developed a passion for studying Ancient Civilizations, Sacred Geometry and Sacred Geometric Architecture. Josh was an expert in both Egyptian and Roman Civilizations. His knowledge of Greek Philosophy impressed many. Josh became a voracious reader, his thirst for knowledge was insatiable. His interest in Sacred Geometry and architecture went hand in hand with his career in Artistic Tile Setting with an insistence on perfection. Josh rose through the ranks of Tile Installers eventually becoming a Project Manager where he oversaw the installation of multi million dollar homes. Everyone who met Josh was instantly drawn to his warmth and light and his exceptional sense of humor. Josh was very clever and very witty. He was truly compassionate, selfless and loyal. Above all else Joshua adored being with his family. Josh is survived by his Father, David Witt; (Tamara) + Mother, Colleen Witt; Sisters, Miranda Witt and Jasmine Witt; Nephews, Jason and Ashton Mitz; Grandparents, Stan Witt (Michelle) and China Witt, and Simon Kratchmer; Aunts and Uncles, Michael Witt (Cindy), Warren Witt (Cheri), Sherry Kratchmer, Shelley Glatt (Dan); Cousins, Jenny, Stan, Mark, Allen, Daniel, Matthew, Adam, Valerie, Amanda, Rachael and Nathan; and last but not least, his four legged children that were the loves of his life, Timmy and Jordan. He is predeceased by his Grandmother, Kathleen Gschaider, and his Aunt, Pamela Hall. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Desert Sunset Funeral Home. All who were touched by Josh or his family are welcome to attend to celebrate his memory with us. It was an honor to have had him in our lives.
