Lexington, KY Joyce K. Cruse, 84, died October 29, 2017. She is survived by her son Clarence Rudolph Rudy Cruse and daughter Dora (Floyd) Fowler; 4 grandsons Brandon Todd (Jody) Curse, Rudy Allen Cruse, Wayne Russell JR (Patty) and Bryan Scott Fugate; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Alfred Kayse and Betty (Linville) Gaines; daughter Mary Pet Petty (Joey) Arnold; sisters Karee House and Ester Fleming and a brother Alfred Alf Kayse. Joyce was a one of a kind woman with an adventurous and feisty spirit, who loved the outdoors. She so appreciated all the beauty that nature and all the flowers and all the trees had to offer, but truly enjoyed being in her home surrounded by all her treasures. Her favorite times were often spent entertaining family and friends who would tell you that she never met a stranger, and it would be the truth. She accepted any and all whole heartedly with open arms. In her final days she insisted she wanted to die at home, sleeping in here beautiful 200 year old bed that was large and elegant that was fit for the Queen she was, with her dogs at her side and thats exactly how she left this world. The loves of her life where her children and especially her 4 grandsons, who she loved beyond measure. She will be profoundly missed. The memories shared with her, by all of whom lives she touched, will be forever cherished. Funeral Information Celebration of Life for Joyce K Cruse will be on Wed. November 15th from 5:30-8:30 at the Bell House. Service 6:30
