Joyce B. Metcalf

Joyce Buckmaster Metcalf, 88, of Clearwater, passed away peacefully August 17, 2017. She moved to Clearwater with her husband, Joe L. Metcalf (deceased) in 1968 from Columbus, GA. Joyce worked in banking and was active in the Panhellenic League, First Methodist Church of Clearwater, bridge, and family activities. She is survived by son, Tim (Gretchen) Metcalf of Safety Harbor; daughter, JoAnn (Tate) Jones of Roswell, GA; brother, Sam (Lacy) Buckmaster of Atlanta, GA; grandchildren, Ryan (Katie) Jones, Joyce Jones, Kelly Metcalf (Allan Keller), Michael Metcalf, Daniel Metcalf, Brian Metcalf, Akira Mitchell, Cyanna Mitchell, and Sheya Mitchell; and great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Cooper Jones and Violet and Layla Keller. Services will be held 3:00 pm Sunday, August 20 at First Methodist Church of Clearwater, 411 Turner St, Clearwater, FL 33756. A family graveside service will follow at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Joyce's memory to First Methodist Church of Clearwater, 411 Turner St, Clearwater, FL 33756, or Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater FL 33760.
