Joyce Raby

Joyce Rebecca Raby-Tyrell 67,of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on Monday,October16th at Doctors Hospital. Joyce was born November 12,1949 in Fort Meyers, Florida to Charles and Elizabeth Raby. She was of the Christian faith. She was a 1967 graduate of Venice Senior High School. Her choice for higher learning was Florida State University, where she earned a degree in Elementary Education in 1971. Joyce always had a heart for her schools and a love for children. She was involved in teaching, tutoring and sharing with others. Joyce was a member of many organizations in Sarasota. She was a willing helper to others and she will be remembered for her efforts and concerns for everyone. Joyce is survived by her husband, Thomas Tyrell, her mother, Elizabeth Raby, her sisters Jeane Raby and Lynne Raby, her brother Christopher Raby and her nephew Corey Raby. She was preceded in death by her grand-parents, Charles Raby, her brother Charles Raby, her sister Deborah Raby and her nephew Curt Raby. Visitaion will be held Saturday, October 28 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematory, 9400 Indian Springs Cemetery Rd., Punta Gorda.
