Obituary Joyce M. Rhorer, 74, of Nicholasville, died Wednesday, November 11, 2009. She was born on January 17, 1935 in Jessamine County, KY, to the late Myrtle Teater Megee and John Clay Megee. Joyce was a member of Brookside Baptist Church in Wilmore and a retired executive secretary for American States Insurance. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry (Norman) Prickett, Alamo, CA; sons, Alvin (Jeanette) Rhorer, Bonnots Mill, MO; John (Dana) Shull, Chattanooga, TN; sisters, Lila Edgington, Bryantsville, KY; Eloyce Tracy, Versailles, KY; brother, Thomas Allen Megee, Portage, MI; 7 grandchildren, Will Rhorer, Robert Rhorer, Jason Shull, Taylor Shull, Morgan Shull, Joe Stroupe, Josh Stroupe and many beloved nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her husband Hugh F. Rhorer and her sister Ann Clay Jason. Funeral Information Visitation will be Saturday, November 14, 1 pm, at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing, with a funeral service to follow at 2 pm, officiated by Rev. DeWayne Brewer. Burial will be at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
