Juan Benito Martinez Juan Benito Martinez, 70 of Espanola New Mexico passed away at Taos Nursing Home, Taos, NM due to Complications with Covid-19 on November 18, 2020 Juan was born on June 3, 1950, in Espanola to Benito and Rosaura T. Martinez. He is preceded in Death by Angie Vigil Martinez(wife), Benito Mtz (father), Rosaura T. Mtz (mother), Fred A. Mtz(brother), Salvador Martinez(brother-in-law), Nancy Mtz(sister-in law), Joe C. Trujillo(nephew), Orlando Baca Jr.(nephew),special cousin Merry Petra Trujillo (Utah). Juan is survived by his siblings: Josephine Martinez (Espanola)Manuel R. Martinez (Ruth) Esp ,Vicentita Ortega(Santos )Ca, Joe Zaca Mtz, Ca, Francisco Mtz(Diane) Ca. Marie Kinney(Jim) Ca, Ernestina Baca , AZ. He has many Nieces, Nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews who loved him so much. His lifetime friends Armando & Frances Vigil, many other cousins and friends. Juan loved saying jokes, whether they were corny or not, he always had one for you. He liked going to the Casino, playing cards, playing his guitiar, and playing bingo. Juan loved life and walking around Espanola saying jokes to all he met up with. He will be missed by many. He touched so many people hearts and always talked about his wife Angie and how much he missed his mother. He loved his family very much Due to pandemic the family will be not have services at this time but will have a gravesite funeral later to be announced.
