Judi Hoy

Judi Hoy, age 73, born November 11, 1939 in Denver, Co., passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at home in Albuquerque, NM. Judi was a retired Computer Systems Analyst/Programmer who lived in Albuquerque for nearly fifty years. During that time, she was the Regional Treasurer for Sweet Adelines; was the 1st Vice President of the Albuquerque Women's Bowling Association (AWBA) for 12 years; served as President of the AWBA for 5 years and was inducted into the AWBA Hall of Fame in 1996. She had been an active member of the Solo Club, Inc. since 1989 where she held several board positions including Secretary and Treasurer. She was President of the Solo Club Bridge group for nineteen years and was also Director of the Annual Decathlons for ten years. Her parents Clarence and Dorothye Plaskett preceded her in death. Judi is survived by her daughter, Kristi Samuelson; son, Mark Samuelson and granddaughters, Alyson Begay, Melanie Begay, and Gabrielle Samuelson. All services will be held at Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque, located at 225 San Mateo Blvd. NE, on Friday August 2, 2013, beginning with a viewing at 9:00 AM.
