Judith Gantt Burgett, 74, went to heaven on Saturday, August 31 after a period of declining health.  She was born in Columbia, SC and was a daughter of the late Charles G. Gantt and Lillian Beckham Gantt. She grew up in West Columbia and was a 1968 graduate of Brookland-Cayce High School where she excelled in all business courses offered.  Judy was an excellent cook and loved trips to the beach and the mountains.

 

She is survived by her son, William S. Turner, Jr., his wife Kathy and their son Will.  She is also survived by her daughter, Kimberly C. Shipe, her husband Jeremy and their children Drew, Sydney, Tatum, Ogden and DeLaney.  Also left to cherish her memory is her sister, Ann Gantt Dixon and her brothers, Larry R. Gantt and Charles G. Gantt, Jr. She is also survived by 2 nieces, 1 nephew, cousins and friends.

 

Memorials may be made in her memory to any charity.
