Judith "Judi" Dubin
October 24th, 1938 - December 9th, 2015
Judith Dubin (Judi) 77, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Novant Health Medical Center in Matthews, NC. She was born in 1938, in Atlantic City, NJ to Nathan and Rose Sokoloff; she lived most of her life in Philadelphia, PA before retiring with her husband, Ron, to their dream home in Ocala, FL. After the passing of her husband, Judi moved to Charlotte, NC to be closer to family. Judi was a devoted and loving wife to her late husband, Ronald Dubin (Ron) for 58 years until his passing in May of 2015. She was a very proud, loving mother to her three sons, Lee and his wife Terry, Michael and his wife Colleen, and Craig and his wife Amy. Judi loved being a grandmother to Jaryd, Erica (Aaron), Melissa (Jared), Scott, Jenna, Amanda and Evan and a great-grandmother to Connor. Judi had a very close relationship with her sister and best friend Harriett, and her husband Marc Rosen. She is also the loving daughter of Nathan and Rose (Nee Shpigel) Sokoloff of Sarasota, FL. Judi was at her happiest when she was with her husband Ron, just sharing time together regardless of the event. She was a family woman, who always put everyone else's concerns and worries before her own. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. A private family service will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell Florida, where she will be put to rest with her husband. Contributions honoring Judi's memory may be made to any chapter of the American Lung Association.
