Judith "Judy" Farrell 69 of Clearwater passed away Friday, March 12, 2010. She was born on January 4, 1941 in Brooklyn NY and was raised in Teaneck NJ. Judy and her late husband, Lenny, founded Lenny's Restaurant in Clearwater over 30 years ago. After Lenny's death, Judy became the matriarch of Lenny's in Clearwater and the Philly Phans. Judy was the honorary "Mom" to Kevin Schauer and the Phillies spring training players. Judy was loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her family that includes Bennett, Dan, Mettayya and her grandchildren Hannah, Ayiah, Chaia, Dara, Max, Oliver and Lenny. She leaves a devoted sister Frayda and brother-in-law Marty Jacobs, as well as numerous nieces and nephews including Nancy and Steven Jacobs and Lindsey, Jacob and Sarah Lowe. Her kind, loving and generous spirit endeared her to everyone who passed her way, and she will be missed by all. Celebration of Judy's life will be 1 PM Monday, March 15, 2010 at Congregation Beth Shalom, 1325 S. Belcher Road, Clearwater. Burial will follow at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, Palm Harbor. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Judy to the Pinellas County Jewish Day School, 1775 S. Highland Avenue, Clearwater FL 33756. David C.
