All-States Cremation - Centennial
Judith Louise Fidler
September 11th, 1951 - October 4th, 2021
--Judy was born to Dewey and Mary Fidler on the 11th day of September 1951 in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Third eldest of 8 children, she is survived by her brother Dewey Fidler of Pueblo, Colorado, and sister Sandra Fidler of Denver, Colorado. Judy brought into this world three beautiful children of her own but was a mother to many. She is survived by her son Charles, son Eddie Zink of Denver, daughter MaryFrances Moreno of Denver, and Daughter-in-law Unabella Rogers of Paris, Illinois. Judy embraced being a grandmother and loved nothing more than her grandchildren Erica (Layfette, Indiana) Cassie Rodgers (Paris, Illinois,) LisaMonique (Denver), Edmund (Indianapolis, Indiana) Leslie(Denver), as well as the many great-grandchildren she never had the chance to meet. Judy also had many nieces and nephews and loved being an aunt to those when she could. Although Judy had been wheelchair-bound for much of her life, she never let this stop her from living her life to the fullest. After moving to Denver in 1985, Judy would spend her time raising her daughter MaryFrances and later her young grandchildren LisaMonique and Leslie. Judy would have a knack for games and puzzles. She loved playing cards with her friends and had a skill for video games with her grandchildren. Judy was never one to be shy on the phone and loved to chat with family and friends in her free time. Judy was a candy striper at Garden Manor Nursing Home as a young woman. Even though Muscular Dystrophy didn't allow her to pursue her dream of becoming a nurse, she didn't let her disability stop her from helping anyone who was in need. Judy volunteered at Marion Plaza in 2001 where she resided for 20 years. She ensured all those who entered felt welcomed and appreciated, making her presence known with friendship and goodwill. Judy taught those around her to approach the world with patience and a smile and to be tolerant to all without bias. She was a light for all those she was able to meet and truly gave to the communities in which she belonged. Judy joins in eternal rest her mother Mary Fidler and Father Dewey Fidler, sisters Theresa Mendoza, Kathryn Buckner and brothers Dennis Fidler and John Fidler. Judy was a strong woman, a great mother, grandma, sister, and friend. "Her absence is like the sky, spread over everything..." C.S Lewis
