Judy had been my friend since I was 23 and she was 28. We worked together, went to nursing school together and hung out together for many years. Although our lives took different paths when I married and moved away, I knew Judy was just a phone call away. In 2002 we got to relive a lot of old memories when I invited her to go on a medical mission trip to Ecuador with a group from my church in Amarillo. We roomed together and had got a lot of talking into that week in Ecuador. We celebrated her 62nd birthday while there. I am so glad I was able to talk with her on Sunday, Jan.4th. She told me she wasn't doing well and I told her she had to get better because I was coming to see her this summer. I guess God had other plans for both of us. Rest in peace my dear friend. One day I will see you again. I will miss your cards and notes to me, Judy,and the occasional phone calls one of us would make. Love you always, My Friend.
