Judith "Judy" Carol Owen

Judith "Judy" Carol Owen, 73, of Lexington, South Carolina went home to our Lord on July 27, 2019. She was born on September 6, 1945 in Liberty, South Carolina to the late Bryson and Margaret (Merck) Owen. Judy was a 1963 graduate of Lexington High School. She played basketball and was also a cheerleader. Judy's greatest love was her family. She adored her ten grandchildren. Judy was at every one of their events, their loudest cheerleader and biggest fan! Her church family was very close to her heart. Judy valued her walk with Christ. Judy is survived by her sons Bryson (Brie) Williams and Richard (Tracey) Owen, her daughters Margaret (Danny) Smith and Jennifer (Todd) Garrick, her grandchildren Brady Williams, Baylor Williams, Lauren (Kyle) Turner, Micah Owen, Turner Owen, Bryce Smith, Grayson Garrick, Abbie Grace Garrick, Carson Garrick, and Grant Garrick. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Owen of Liberty, SC and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Merck of Liberty, SC. The family will receive friends at Radius Church, 300 W. Main Street, Lexington, SC 29072 on July 31, 2019 from 2:00PM - 3:00PM. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:30PM. Pastor Todd Carnes will be officiating. Inurnment will take place following the Memorial Service in St. Stephens Lutheran Church Cemetery.
