Judith Anne Patterson

Judith Anne Patterson, was born to Harry and Virginia Tolmie on March 24, 1943, in New York, New York, and grew upin Queens, N.Y. Judy passed away May 15, 2012 at the age of 69. Judy was married to Eric Patterson at 17 and they later divorced. From the late 1970's through the mid-1990's Judy was a carrier for the U.S. Postal service. She was active in the "Relay for Life", served on the Canby Area Transit board, and was volunteer of the year at OCTS Channel 5, in 2005. She retained a life-long friend in Mike at OCTS. Judy was also a cancer survivor, and sustained a stroke in 1995 that confined her to a wheelchair. She remained very active in the community till shortly before her death. Survivors include her son, Sean Patterson of Canby; brother, David of Novato, California; and two grandchildren, niece's and other friends who considered her a dear friend. There will be a Memorial Service for Judy at the Canby Funeral Chapel, on Monday, May 21, 2012, at 11:00 AM. Suggested Memorial contributions can be made to the following: Relay for Life-American Cancer Society Committee, Canby, Oregon. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Canby Funeral Chapel.
