Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory
Judith Cook Phillips
November 5th, 1951 - April 12th, 2023
Judith "Judy" Cook Phillips, 71, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her family April 12, 2023. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on November 5, 1951 to the late Mr. Wilson Cook and Mrs. V. Rose Gogan Cook. She is also preceded in death by her twin brother, Joseph Cook. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 2 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Committal will immediately follow the Funeral Mass at Parkway Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held Monday, April 17, 2023 from 6 PM to 9 PM at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory. Judy was a hairdresser to many for 40 plus years and a die hard Northside Eagles football fan. There weren't many games she missed and if she did there was a valid reason. Her feisty spirit and spunky personality will be greatly missed by her friends and family. Judy is survived by her husband, Tom Phillips; children: Candace Mize (Matt) and Eric Knight; grandchildren: Gracie Mize, Mollie Mize, Ryder Mize, and Major Knight; siblings: Cathy Allen, Margaret Reaves, Angela Hudson, and Carlton Cook (Linda); and a host of extended family and friends. Please sign the online guest registry at http://www.heritagemfh.com and leave a personal condolence for the family. Heritage Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory has the honor of being entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Judy Cook Phillips.
