Judith Scarola
April 12th, 1947 - November 1st, 2022
Judith “Judy” A. Scarola, 75, passed away at Bayfront Medical Center on November 1, 2022. She was born on April 12, 1947, the daughter of Harry and Anne Zeitler of Fairview, NJ. Judy attended Cliffside Park High School. After high school she worked on Wall Street in NYC and then met the love of her life, Anthony Scarola. They were married in 1973 at St. Jude’s Cathedral and settled in Saint Petersburg, Florida to raise their family. Judy devoted her life to being a wife and she loved to cook. Her children would contact her regularly for her recipes and for tips on cooking. Judy had a great personality and was always the life of the party. She spent many years working in accounting and spent her retirement years utilizing the tremendous talent she had creating artwork for her friends and family. Judy is survived by her children; Mark Scarola (Lisa), Jacqueline (Scarola) Whitfield (Thomas), Toni (Scarola) Ogle (Thomas), Jean (Scarola) Cavaliere (Daniel), Anthony Scarola (Iryna) grandchildren; Michael Scarola, Jenny Green Hogue, Jessie Green, Luke Green, Anna Kallis (Craig), Jessica Session (Larry), Danielle Spruill (Jeramie), Jenna Cavaliere, Giuliana Scarola, Nicholas Scarola, Andrew Scarola, Andrew Tarasenko, Hunter Hogue and great grandchildren Lucy and Weston Spruill. She also left behind a sister-in-law, Justine Zeitler, niece Jillian Zeitler, nephews Jacob Zeitler and Justin Zeitler. Her husband Anthony, brother Jacob and grandchild Luke predeceased her by several years. Viewing is planned 8-9:30am Tuesday, 11/15/22 at David C Gross Funeral Home, 6366 Central Avenue, St. Petersburg. A mass follows at St. Jude’s Cathedral's chapel at 10am. Interment following at Calvary Cemetery Clearwater FL where Judy will be laid to rest. Immediately following the cemetery, there will be a reception at Justine Zeitler’s home.
