Judson "Judd" Lloyd Hopkins, II
January 20th, 1979 - January 17th, 2025
Judson (Judd) Lloyd Hopkins II, 45, passed away on January 17, 2025, in Lakewood, CO. Born on January 20, 1979, Judd was known for his vibrant personality, unwavering faith, and deep love for his family. He is survived by his wife, Jodi; their two sons, Wesley and Collin; his parents, Robert and Dianne Hopkins; his sister, Brynn Gustafson; and 18 nieces and nephews, with whom he shared a special bond, especially with his niece, Brooklynn.
A devoted member of St. Jude Catholic Church, Judd served as Grand Knight, and was also the state Vice President for Knights on Bikes. His passions included motorcycling, gold panning, and spending time with friends, but nothing brought him more joy than taking his boat to the lake. Judd had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, and his laughter was truly contagious. He was always the first to lend a hand, going above and beyond to help anyone in need.
Judd earned an associate's degree in Surveying and Mapping from Westwood College and worked at Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) for 16 years—15 as a contractor and 1½ as a federal employee. He was passionate about solving problems and found great fulfillment in WAPA's mission, where his personality and dedication contributed to his success.
A service honoring Judd's life will be Monday February 10th, 2025 at St Jude Catholic Church located at 9405 W Florida Ave, Lakewood, CO 80232. The day will start with a Rosary at 10:00 am, followed by a funeral mass at 11:00 am. A reception at the church will follow, providing an opportunity for family and friends to share memories of Judd.
