February 1st, 1946 - July 28th, 2024
Judson "Jud" B. Simmons, III, a computer systems analyst and avid sports fan, passed away on July 28, 2024, in St. Petersburg, FL. Born on February 1, 1946, in Jacksonville, FL, Jud led a life filled with family, work, and a love for all things tech and sports-related.
His educational pursuits took him to St. Leo College Prep., Marquette University, and finally the University of South Florida. Jud's knack for understanding complex computer systems made him a trusted analyst, respected by colleagues.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Joanne Simmons, and his daughter, Nicole Simmons, along with her husband David Klabo. His sister Sandy Todd, brother Terry Simmons "Lori", and a host of sisters-in-law - Judy Holewinski (Arlyn), Sally Kimps, Wendy LaBorde (Todd), and Diane Lardinois - also cherish his memory. Jud was preceded in death by his parents, Judson Simmons Jr. and Patricia Simmons, as well as his brother Kenny Simmons.
