Judy Mitchell Tincher (MRS T) moved her residence from The Homeplace in Midway to her mansion in Heaven on 2/9/2018. She was born on April 6, 1942 in Paducah, KY to the late Earl and Hazel Mitchell. Judy is survived by her husband of 49 years Jim Tincher, son Bill Tincher (Kathy) of Versailles, daughter Tonya Cox (Fred) of Lexington and grandchildren Kaitlyn Tincher Coyle (Matt), Chase Tincher, Grace Cox, Ella Cox and Frederick Cox, brother Donald Earl Mitchell (Barbara) and nephew Chris Mitchell of Lexington. Judy graduated from Paducah Tilghman HS, received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of KY and her Dietetic Certification from Vanderbilt University. Judy was employed at St Joseph Hospital for 35 years as a clinical dietitian and food service manager where she was known as Mrs T. Judy was an avid UK football and basketball fan and avid bridge player belonging to several bridge groups. Judy believed in giving back by serving people and was a member of the Lexington Lioness Club (a Most Valuable Member), Best Friends Day Center. Immanual Baptist Church and supporter of the Lions Bluegrass Fair for 40 years. The family would like to thank the staff of the Best Friends House and the Faith House at the Homeplace at Midway for the exceptional care, love and treatment for over 2 years. Memorial donations may be made to the Judy Tincher Charitable Tissue Fund at the Ky Lions Eye Bank, 301 E. Muhammad Ali Blvd, Louisville, KY 40202-1511 or The Homeplace at Midway, 101 Sexton Way, Midway, KY 40347 There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends from 5-7PM, Sunday, February 11, 2017 at Clark Legacy Center in Brannon Crossing. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 7PM. Private family burial
