Judy was born in Ecorse, Michigan near Detroit on November 4, 1939. Her parents, Lawrence and Dorothy Denton brought her home to big sisters Jean and Joy, little sister Jan arrived later. Judy grew up in Lincoln Park, Michigan as the third of four girls. After high school, while working for Detroit Edison, she met Arnold Wiebold. They were married on September 3, 1960. Judy and Arnold moved to Lincoln, Nebraska where she worked as he finished an engineering degree. They then moved to several places with the US Air Force. During those years, they had two daughters, Amy and Nancy. She started having health problems in those years. After the Air Force years, they moved to Marysville, Michigan, near Port Huron. Pam and Bob were born in Port Huron. Judy kept busy raising four children and making a home. She and Arnold made an ice rink in the back yard one winter. In 1970, the family moved to Sunnyvale, California for a job and for Judy's health. The family got involved in school, church and a local swim and racquet club. Judy played a lot of tennis and always had a great tan. She wrote lots of funny poetry and was generally the life of the party! During the time in Sunnyvale, the family started vacationing at Pajaro Dunes in Monterey Bay. Pajaro has continued to be very special to all of us. Life continued to be busy and full. The kids grew up, went to college, and all got married. Judy worked for Newton-Petters Office World and later for FBCLA (First Baptist Church of Los Altos). After retirement, Judy and Arnold moved to Parker. They moved into a dream home with a beautiful view they enjoyed! They joined Grace Baptist Church where they became part of a loving church family. As their health challenges increased, Judy and Arnold moved to Morningstar Parker Assisted Living. On January 27, 2013, Judy passed peacefully into eternal rest with family around her. Judy is survived by her husband of 52 years, Arnold, and her sisters, Jan, Joy and Jean. She also leaves four children, Amy, Nancy, Pam and Bob and Amy's husband, Mark, and Bob's wife, Terri. She leaves nine grandchildren, Mandy, Blake and Chad Henderson, Steffanie Freedoff, Kenny, Katie and Bobby Ford, Brett and Taylor Wiebold and Blake's wife, Nicci. Judy believes with all her heart in Jesus Christ as her Savior, so she is now riding the heavenly range (she always loved playing cowgirl) and celebrating eternity with her Lord and loved ones. A Celebration of her Life and Faith will be held 3 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Grace Baptist Church, 10816 S. Parker Road in Parker. Final Resting Place is Ft. Logan National Cemetery.
