JUDYNE K. KURTH 69 of Jefferson passed away Friday June 20, 2014 at the University Hospital in Madison. She was born on November 13, 1944 in Vernon, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Gustave and Lillian (Rickman) Henschel. She married Robert Kurth on January 13, 1962 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on July 14, 2010. Judyne was a homemaker and cook. She owned and operated the Pizza Palace in Fredonia. She loves making ceramics and enjoys Bingo. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and she will be deeply missed by her family. She is survived by four daughters; Debbie (Steven) Schlotthauer of Lake Mills, Patricia Kumar of Whitewater, Karen (Adam) McGeough of Jefferson, Terri (Kenneth) McGeough of Whitewater, one son; Charles (Misty) Kurth of Evansville, WI, 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, one sister; Tammy Duran of Lake Mills and two brothers; Wayne (Angel) Bornick of Madison, Jesse (Jackie) Henschel of Seymour, WI. She is also preceded in death by her brother LeRoy Henschel, granddaughter Amanda Schlotthauer, great grandson; James Mullen, Son-in-law; Ashok Kumar. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday June 29, at the Schneider-Michaelis Funeral home with Rev. Angel Bornick officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday June 29, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Both Robert and Judyne will be buried together in the Union Cemetery at a later date.
