Jules Bernard Kaplan, 78, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014. Jules was born December 29, 1935 in Chicago IL to the late Irving and the late Rachel (Levinson) Kaplan. He served in the Navy and had a career as an entrepreneur. Jules enjoyed model trains, movies and politics and was diehard USC fan. He is survived by his wife Jewel Kaplan of Las Vegas; children Ilene Liss, Judith (Patricia Spinoso) Liss and Ira (Jeannine) Liss; and grandson Riley Liss, all of Palm Desert CA; and his beloved dog, Jake. A service is pending. Contributions in Jules' memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
