Julie Ann Carlson, 58, of Englewood, passed away peacefully and gracefully on Wednesday, October 9th at home surrounded by her husband, Gary, her daughter, Lindsey and son, Tucker by her side. Julie strived to live above her cancer and with a strong faith and a belief in God's plan for her. She was an inspiration and leaves a legacy and imprint on many lives. Julie was a dedicated educator for over 30 years, most of which were with Littleton Public Schools. Her passion was teaching, whether reading to elementary students or leading an adult bible study. Julie enjoyed visiting Phoenix to see her kids and her grandson, Connor, kayaking, hiking, traveling, spending time with friends and hosting parties. She is also survived by her mother, sisters and brothers, son-in-law and grandson. Her wonderful spirit will be celebrated on Monday, October 14, 2013, 5:00 p.m. at St. Andrew United Methodist Church, 9203 S. University Blvd., Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
