Julie "Hansen" Ann McDonald
September 4th, 1941 - December 17th, 2012
Julie Ann McDonald, 71, was born in Boise, Idaho on September 4, 1941. She went to a Better Place on Monday December 17, 2012, after a short terminal illness. Julie is a member of the L.D.S Church. Julie has held many different callings in the church and has been a valiant member and had a testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Julie is a very talented lady with many talents, from painting and knitting and crocheting, cooking, sewing, embroidery, and had a talent for being a great mother, wife, sister, grandmother and friend. Julie is the daughter of Arvel and Glenna Hansen of Meridian, Idaho, who preceded her in death. Julie is the oldest of three children, with survivors Karen Gardner of Boise, Idaho; Bill Hansen of Meridian, Idaho. Julie and William were married for Time and All Eternity on January 13, 1961 in the Idaho Falls Temple. They were married just shy of 53 years. Julie preceded Bill in death. Julie is the mother of six children. Five children living. Diana Johnson of Middleton, Idaho, Kristine Lowry of Juneau, Alaska, Jason McDonald of Bountiful, Utah, Chad McDonald of Middleton, Idaho, and Cindee Bryant of Knoxville, Tennessee. Preceded in death by son Teddy William McDonald. Julie leaves behind 16 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren, whom she adores and will miss greatly. Anyone who was lucky to have their life touched in anyway with Julie was very blessed. Services will be held on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 8:30AM, at the Middleton L.D.S. Church located on 1749 Willis Rd. in Middleton, Idaho. There will be no viewing. Burial will follow at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, Boise.
