Julisa Maldonado June 29, 2000 �" November 12, 2008 Age: 8 Residence: Greeley, Colorado Tribute: Julisa Marie Maldonado was born in Greeley, CO to Michael Maldonado and Monica Rodriguez. Julisa was an independent, smart, loving and caring individual who enjoyed playing games with her brother Michael, cousins and friends. She enjoyed swimming, riding her bike, watching Disney channel, arts and crafts and playing with her puppy, Brownie. Julisa had a sense of humor that would put a smile on anyone's face. Throughout Julisa's five year battle with cancer her #1 supporter was her best friend and mother, Monica and her grandma, Lisa. She was loved and cared for by many doctors and nurses at Children's Hospital. She touched many lives and is our Angel who will never be forgotten. Survivors: Mother, Monica Rodriguez of Greeley; father, Michael Maldonado of Los Angeles, CA; brother Michael Maldonado, Jr. of Greeley; sister, Amy Maldonado of Los Angeles; grandparents, Julian and Lisa Rodriguez of Greeley, Beatrice Maldonado of Los Angeles; aunts, Desiree Rodriguez of Greeley, and Angie Ludena, Margaret Hernandez, Abby Ramos all of Los Angeles; uncles, Julian Rodriguez Jr., Jessie Crespin, both of Greeley, Phillip Maldonado of Los Angeles; great grandparents, Rose Archuleta of Greeley, Steve and Francis Riojas of Divine, TX; and great aunt, Angie Guzman of Greeley. She is also survived by her God-Parents, Maria Alvarez, Monica Colin and Lupe Tapia all of Greeley. Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Wednesday November 19, 2008 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Interment: Linn Grove Cemetery, Greeley.
