June Elizabeth Bond, 85, of Amsterdam, NY, has gone to her eternal rest on Monday, September 2nd, 2019. Born on March 1st, 1934 in Amsterdam, NY, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mabel Smith-Robson. June was a graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School Class of 1952. She was proud to be the first female manager on the 6th floor at the General Electric Company located in Schenectady, NY. June was a very proud woman with a unique sense of humor. She was close to her family and enjoyed family fishing trips to Black Lake several times a year. She loved to knit and enjoyed watching her cable news as well as various soap operas. June is survived by her sons, Ralph (Laurel J.) Charles Bond Jr., and David Alan Bond; her grandchildren, Katie D. Nadler, and David A. (Tiffany R.) Bond; and her great granddaughter, Lily J. Bond. June is predeceased by her beloved husband Ralph Bond Sr., her parents Arthur and Mabel Robson, and her sister Lorraine Boundy. Services for June will be held at a later date at the discretion of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
