June Peters Bowman
November 30th, 1922 - August 9th, 2018
Mrs. June Peters Bowman, age 95 passed away on August 9, 2018. June was born November 30, 1922 in Little Falls to the late Eva Mae Peters and Burt Hans Bernhardt vonKoetteritz. She was a 1941 Graduate from Gloversville High School. June married the late Arnold George Bowman on November 20, 1941. They remained happily married until his passing in 1979. She is survived by her two daughters, Carole Ryder (Tom) of Northville, and Diane Bowman (Kevin Eberts) of Gloversville. As well as 6 granddaughters; Ginger (Mike) Fluharty, Constance (Bill) Hamilton, Deborah (William) Hardcastle, Cassandra Bowman, Jazmyn Eberts and Devina Eberts. June is also survived by 6 great grandchildren as well as a great-great granddaughter and several nieces and nephews. June was also predeceased by sisters Jane Mitchell and Patricia Ziehmn, as well as two grandsons; James Kent and George Clifford. She was employed by Robinson & Smith Dry Cleaners for over 25 years, as well as Martin & Naylor Department Store in Gloversville. June was a founding member of both the Bleecker Fish and Game club and Bleecker Snowrovers. She had a beautiful spirit, loved to travel, she enjoyed reading and most of all, spending time with her family. Calling hours will be held at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St. Gloversville, on Friday August 17th from 12pm to 3pm. Burial will take place immediately following at Bleecker Cemetery.
