She was a homemaker and a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Survivors include 2 nieces, Gail Hinote Carter of DeFuniak Springs, Florida and Ann R. Henry of Tucson, Arizona, 2 nephews, Lloyd H. Hinote, Sr. of Monroe, North Carolina and Ken Rutherford of Oxford, Mississippi, and several great nieces and great nephews.
