Justin Ray Arellano passed away on Sept. 22, 2018. Justin was born on March 12, 1990. His parents are Caytano (Guy) and Annette Arellano. Justin attend Bosque Farms Elementary, Los Lunas Middle School, Los Lunas High School and graduated from Belen High School in 2009. Justin loved to wrestle for the schools; he was a Belen High School wrestling champion in 2008. He graduated from Universal Technical Institute with two associate degrees, one in automotive/diesel mechanic and one in power generator. Justin went to Iraq as a civilian contractor at Base Anaconda right out of school in 2011. When he came back, he wanted to go to the Navy; he joined in December 2012. He became a corpsman and served until he passed away. Justin received awards for many things while in the Navy. Justin is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Felino Arellano and Frieda Heyd; maternal grandparents, Herman and Terry Sanchez, and Trinidad and Adella Torrez. Justin is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Arellano; children, Tenaya (9), Tahlya (3) and Talen (4 months); his father, Caytano (Guy); mother, Annette Arellano; sisters, Karin Arellano (Antonio) and Francis Jimenez (Dominic); brothers, Valentino (Shannon) and Johnny (Tina); nieces, Serenity, Madelyn and Stephanie; nephews, Alex, Billy, Nick, Donovan, Gage, Elijah and Alias; and godparents, Ray and Kelly Sanchez; many aunts, uncles, cousins; and grandparents, Alfredo and Barbara Chavez. Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 4, at San Clemente Catholic Church, 244 Luna Ave. in Los Lunas, beginning with a viewing at 6:30 p.m., and a Rosary at 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 5, at Calvary Chapel Rio Grande Valley in Belen, beginning with a viewing at 9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral services at 10 a.m. A reception follows at Calvary Chapel. If you would like to bring any items, contact Kristy Vasquez, Lorraine Perea or the family home. The burial will be held at 9:45 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.>
