Justin Thomas Bode
January 20th, 1981 - October 26th, 2022
Justin Thomas Bode was born at Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota, on January 20, 1981, and passed away on October 26, 2022. Justin lived life at full speed. He loved many things but nothing or anyone more than he loved his son, Ryan. Justin looked forward to Ryan’s football games, going to Urban Air, playing video games together, and getting Ryan haircuts. He loved spending time with his close friends. He was a part of the Dogpile Men’s Group and became family with his brothers in sobriety and life. His family is extremely grateful to hear and read about the impact he had on the lives of others and the friendships he built. Justin loved fishing, softball, basketball, weightlifting, riding his motorcycle, buying Jordan shoes and Yankee hats. He would spend hours doing the things he loved and fully invested in everything he committed to. He is survived by his son, Ryan Bode; parents, Roy and Elli Bode; brother, Joshua C. Bode; and nephew, Joshua D. Bode. The family especially thanks the wonderful people at the Ada County Drug Court, the fellowship and family of AA and NA, expressly the Dogpile Men’s Group, and all the great friends and family who have spread love and kindness through fond memories of Justin. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Justin’s memory to: Boise Rescue Mission Ministries PO Box 1494 Boise, ID 83701 Or Alcoholics Anonymous Treasure Valley Central Office 1111 S. Accent Funeral Home
A local landmark in Meridian, Accent Funeral Home has been serving the community since 1986. The business was first established with a vision to offer services in a comfortable, homelike atmosphere. This vision is reflected in our building, a Tudor-style home built in 1938 for a local postman. When remodeling the house to accommodate the funeral home, much care was taken to preserve the original architectural integrity of the building. The Accent Funeral Home holds a special relationship with the Meridian community and is sensitive to the area’s changing needs, providing service and friendship to comfort those we serve....
