Karen was a loving, attentive grandmother, a strong parent, and a beautiful friend. Karen passed away from her brief fight with cancer on April 19, 2010. She was born August 29, 1948 in Britton, South Dakota to Roy and Doris Morrow. The family moved to Washington State when Karen was 2 years old. Karen attended Littlerock Grade School and graduated from Rochester High School in 1966. After high school graduation, she attended Tacoma Vocational Tech and received a certificate in Accounting. Karen worked as a bookkeeper and other jobs until she was hired as an accountant for the State Auditor's Office in 1977. Karen worked for the Auditor's Office until her retirement in 2008. She enjoyed traveling with her daughter to Europe and with her grandchildren around Washington and Oregon.Karen is survived by her daughter, Becky Allen of Olympia; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Christine Allen of Lacey; 3 granddaughters, Taylor, Elysha, and Briana; her mother, Doris Morrow of Olympia; 2 brothers, Allen (Fern) Morrow of Olympia and Joe (Molly) Morrow of Ellensburg; 2 sisters Sue Isbell of Olympia and Mary (Jack) Dowell of Jordan Valley, OR; 5 nephews; 3 nieces; 3 great nieces; and 2 great nephews.
