Karen Louise Bumgarner

Karen Louise Bumgarner, 53 years young of Tacoma, Washington, passed away on February 20th 2018. Karen was born at Fort Sill in Oklahoma on September 30th 1964 to the parents Helen and Grant Bumgarner. She was the baby of 7 children. Karen went to Franklin Pierce High School and continued her education at Tacoma Community College graduating with an Associates Degree and becoming a Chemical Dependency Counselor for many years. Karen is preceded in death by her mother Helen, sisterJanet and brother Terry. She is survived by her father Grant, brother Steve, sisters Charlotte, Kris and Mary, aunts and uncles, cousins, children Robbie, Robyn and Rilley, many nieces and nephews, and a granddaughter Olyvia from Robyn and Jacob who she adored very much. The celebration of life for Karen will be held at the First Baptist Church of Lakewood on March 17th 2018 at 12:00 p.m. with a reception to immediately follow. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to Pastor Kellcy and the rest of the staff for all their guidance in this time of need. They would also like to thank the ones that have helped in the planning and preparing her celebration of life.
