Ms Karen Thompson Chilton, 67, of Greensboro, died Sunday, January 29, 2012. In honor of her wishes there will be no formal service. Ms Chilton was born in Akron, Ohio, August 14, 1944, to the late Willard and Othola Hicks Thompson. She retired from Mohawk Industries after 46 years of service. Mrs. Chilton is survived by her daughters, Debra C. Greene and husband Jack, of Greensboro and Cathy C. Horton and husband Roy, of Colfax; sister, Mary Sams, of Eden; brother, Charles Thompson and wife Fleeta, of Eden; 4 granddaughters, Jaclyn Greene, Katie Greene, Emily Horton, and Shelby Horton; life long friends, Judy Campbell and Kathy Grogan.
