November 19th, 1957 - July 20th, 2023
Karen Mary Dean, of West Deptford, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023. She was 65. Legacy Born in Philadelphia, Karen graduated from West Deptford High School in 1976. She earned her Associates Degree in Sociology from Gloucester County Community College in 2014. Karen worked for DuPont in WIlmington, DE and the Superior Courts of Camden County, NJ before retiring in 2020. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her Shih Tzu, Ziva. She loved spending days along the Jersey Shores of Cape May & Sea Isle City and tending to her garden. She was a lifelong fan of the Philadelphia sports teams, especially her Eagles and Phillies. Karen will be dearly missed by the family and friends who thoroughly enjoyed her company during her life. Family Karen is the beloved mother of Monica Carter, William (Sarah) Gelsinger, and Bethany (Brian) Golle; dear sister of Donna Turing and the late Dennis Dean and John Dean, Jr.; and loving grandmother of Maryann, Landon, Callen, Delaney, Aisling, Tatum, Sloane, and Cassidy. Karen is also survived by nieces, Jennifer, Stephanie & Brittany and her nephews, Ryan and Alex. Farewell Tribute Relatives and friends are invited to attend her gathering on Saturday, July 29, 2023 after 10 AM in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter Street, Woodbury; where her Memorial Service will follow at 12 Noon. share the memories...share love … ShareLife® at www.mcgfuneral.com
