Karen Fischer

Karen Louise Fischer, 64, Westminster, CO passed peacefully surrounded by her family and lifelong companion on January 13, 2015 in Life Care Center, Westminster, CO. Karen was born on April 18, 1950 at Langdon, North Dakota. She was the beloved daughter of Neil and Anna Fischer. She is survived by longtime companion and friend, Carl Gaccetta. She is also survived by sisters, Joanne Fischer, Westminster, CO, Kathy (Jason) Jensen, Bellvue, CO, Janet (Michael) Kosanda, Sun City West, AZ, Barbara (Randy) Welter, Panama City Beach, FL and brother, Merlin (Susan) Fischer, Vancouver, WA. Her two nieces, six nephews and twelve great nieces and nephews held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Anna Fischer and infant brothers, Joseph and John. Karen graduated from St. Alphonus High School, Langdon, North Dakota and the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, North Dakota. She was employed with Pensco Trust Company as an investment account specialist. She was also a long time employee of TJ Maxx. Karen enjoyed gardening, interior decorating and traveling with her longtime companion. At Karen’s request, the family will hold private services.
