Karen M. Morin
December 7th, 1941 - February 6th, 2020
Ware-Karen M. (Roberts) Morin, passed away February 6, 2020. Born in Charlton on December 7, 1941, she was the daughter of Edward and Mary (Ward) Roberts. Karen lived most of her life in Monson, MA, but in recent years had moved to Ware, MA. She worked as a bookkeeper for the majority of her life, but became a CNA in years prior to her retirement. Karen enjoyed going on cruises with friends and family before she became ill. More recently, she enjoyed watching and feeding the birds around her home along with doing crossword puzzles. Her furry kitty friends were near and dear to her heart. Karen will be dearly missed by her daughter, Vicky Morin-McLeish of Southbridge along with her dear grandchildren, John McLeish of Enfield, CT and Erin Chase and her husband Terry also of Enfield, CT. Karen will also be missed by her great grandchildren, Kathryn and Curtis Chase, her sister, Gail Russell, sister-in-law Jane Roberts, and her aunt, Alice Piechota. She will also be missed by her nephews, niece and great nephews and nieces that were all so helpful over the years as her health declined. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her siblings, Edward Roberts, Jr. and Jean O’Neil. She was also predeceased by her son-in-law Bruce E. McLeish. Visitation will be Saturday, February 22 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Funeral Home. Weather permitting, procession and committal service will be at Bethany Cemetery in Monson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association or Second Chance Animal Shelter, North Brookfield, MA.
