Karen Elaine Sheets
September 3rd, 1945 - May 20th, 2016
Karen Sheets, 70, of Galeton, Colorado, peacefully passed away on May 20th. She was born Sept. 3, 1945 in Weld County to Mildred and William Boyer. On Feb. 27, 1965, she married Homer (Bill) Sheets; they had recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. Karen loved to crochet and work in her yard - especially in her rose gardens. She also loved to play slot machines. Karen was a loving mother, wife, and homemaker; she retired from Kodak after 21 years. She is preceded death by her mother Mildred and her father William, and brothers Bill Boyer and Hank Boyer. Karen is survived by her husband Homer (Bill) Sheets; two daughters, Pam Jacobsen and her husband, Brian, and Linda Bernhard; and son, David Sheets and his wife, Sherri. Karen is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandson. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 noon Saturday May 28, 2016 at Adamson Funeral & Cremation, 2000 47th Avenue, Greeley, CO.
