KARIN D. CARSON Karin Dagny Carson, 69, of Englewood died peacefully at her Charlotte County residence Monday morning, December 22, 2008. Born on September 11, 1939 in Sweden she had been a resident of Englewood since 1985 coming from Needham, MA. Mrs. Carson was a licensed practical nurse who worked at the Glover Memorial Hospital in Needham for twenty-eight years and retired in 1985. Karin loved her home and did much of the maintenance work herself. An avid seamstress she also enjoyed traveling frequently with her companion, Paul. Survivors include her loving companion: Paul F. Cummings of Englewood, FL; one daughter: Maria C. Rosendahl-Boothby of British Columbia, Canada; two grand children: Nicholas and Isabella Boothby; one sister: Lena VonGreyerz and one brother: Janivar Broqvist both of Sweden. No service is planned at this time. Englewood Community Funeral Home & Cremation Services has been selected to handle arrangements.
