Katharina Marie McKenna, 27, passed away February 5, 2016 in Chehalis, Washington after an automobile accident. She was born September 11, 1988 to Jeanne K. and Brandt D. McKenna in Centralia, Washington. A graduate of Pe Ell High School, Katharina was a caregiver. Katharina had a great zest for life, big smile, and boisterous laugh. She will also be remembered for her loudness and stubbornness. She loved spending time with her son, Brody, especially going to the park with him and her niece. She enjoyed fishing, riding quads, picking daffodils, and driving in the woods. She is survived by her son, Brody Daniel McKenna; parents; brother, Josh McKenna; and sister, Nicole (Harold) Martin. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Marie Schafer and Gene McKenna; and her maternal grandparents, Marlene Martin and John Martin. Memorial donations may be made to the “Memorial for Katharina McKenna” at Security State Bank, under Nicole Martin’s name.
