Crowder, Katharine Rachel "Katie", 20 of Mount Dora, passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Honolulu, HI, on May 2, 1997 to Gary Crowder and Jacqueline Lovelace. Katie attended Lake Tech. She was a steadfast friend, avid writer, and cared deeply for her loving family. Katie is survived by her mother and step-father, Jacqueline and Robert Sams; father, Gary Crowder; and brothers, Jake Crowder, Gavin Sams, and Blake Sams. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 2pm, at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2201 Dr. MLK St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33704. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made in Katie's name to the SPCA.
